Born as Anne Jacqueline Hathaway (did you know that William Shakespeare?s wife?s name was Anne Hathaway?) on November 12, 1982, Anne is an American actress who debuted in a TV series Get Real.

Her notable roles: Anne co-starred with Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada in 2009 where she played the assistant of a bossy fashion magazine editor in-chief.

In 2008 she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Rachel Gets Married. This year we?re going to see her as a White Queen in Alice in Wonderland (also with Johnny Depp!).

Anne Hathaway is a great fashionista known for her sophisticated and glamorous style. I once heard Anne complaining about her love life. She said that despite being a star and a great fashionista she does have lots of problems finding that Significant Other. Her former boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was sentenced to 4 years! Poor Anne. Cheer up girl, there are lots of chics unhappy with their love life!

Update: despite vowing to go slow after splitting with Raffaello Follieri, in November 2011 Anne has gotten engaged to boyfriend of three years Adam Shulman. They are said to be getting married in 2012! That sounds great, congratulations to the happy couple!
